Labeling bows

Under CPSIA, I need to have my bows labeled. I just came across this tutorial for making labels - it's a couple years old and directed at quilting people but not out of date and applicable to me as well: PatchworkPottery

I did it!!

I opened an etsy store with the ribbon shamrock clip. Here I am Hamburke.etsy.com

Ribbon Shamrock

I worked out the kinks in my ribbon shamrock (ie scraped the whole thing and found another way). here I took the tutorial for a 5 pt ribbon flower from Pin Tangle's blog (she's usually WAY too advanced for me), and modified them by overlapping them to make a shamrock, added a button and VOILA! enjoy!



oh, on a side note, I'm working on opening an etsy store. Words of advice and encouragement would be helpful and I'll post the link when I've opened it up.

St. Patty's Day is coming up!

So Feb is almost done -only a few more hours- whew! made it to March. Will it be a lamb or a lion? Frankly, I'm done with precipitation in general so if it would be nice fore a couple weeks, I'd be happy and then deal with rain at the end of the month - a few thunderstorms would be welcome to come wash away what's left of our now quite dirty snow!

I'm working on St. Patrick's Day bows but I only just ordered the shamrock ribbon. Here's more crocheted clips though - Shamrocks this time! :)

Oh, and did I mention that I've learned to crochet? Stay tuned for a St. Patty's Day bow - I've worked out the kinks but don't have green yarn yet...

Happy (almost) Valentine's Day!

	Double 5-petal: This one is a bit bigger than the regular 5-petals and doesn't do so well on an alligator clip. This one went on a crocheted headband for a baby and I'm putting it on a ponytail holder for my girls.

Disney Vacation?
